Bute Park Salad Garden is nestled within the beautiful walled garden in the centre of Bute Park.
This is where Cardiff Salad Garden began! We have several polytunnels and greenhouses inside the Bute Park nurseries where we grow salad for delivery to a range of restaurants and individual customers across Cardiff – all delivered by bike! It’s a little quiet oasis where you can get to know different people, learn about growing and packing salads, and take a few hours for mindful activity.
“Immediately it was just a lovely place. It is one of the least judgemental places or one of the most accepting places. I could see when I got there that there was a diverse group of people and that there was just this acceptance that we were all just there to learn about the salad garden and planting and growing and harvesting.” – Volunteer, Bute Park Salad Garden
How do I find the garden?
